Four days afloat: the price is fixed, the route is ours to propose
Updated 4 November 2026
A Komodo 4 days 3 nights all inclusive boat trip on Vhale costs IDR 160,000,000 (≈ USD 9,816) for the whole boat, or IDR 5,710,000 (≈ USD 350) a head at twenty-eight. The four-day fare comes with no fixed route, so what follows is a sample, with the captain setting the order. The dragons are met at Rinca.
Four days afloat on a sample route
Plainly, then. The four-day fare is fixed and the route is not, so the one below is our sample: the three days with one more morning stitched on, and an order you settle with the captain.
It borrows its first three days from the 3D2N, leaves the third afternoon free for the paddle boards, a swim and the day bed, and gives the final morning to Kanawa before the quay in Labuan Bajo around midday. A proposal, which the weather and the captain may rewrite.

Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
Why anyone adds a fourth morning
Nobody adds a fourth morning for the stops; what it buys is a slower afternoon, the kind three days squeeze out. The third afternoon in the sample has no stop in it at all, only the boat at rest, two paddle boards, the day bed and a long table that stays laid.
It also gives the group a third night and another dinner at anchor, which is about when strangers become a table, or a family finishes the argument it began on the first evening. The price of that is one more day of the fare, and the arithmetic hides none of it.
The dragon walk stays at Rinca
The dragons live on Rinca, and Rinca is the island this route walks, like every route, behind a ranger and among animals that keep no appointments. If the dragons are the reason for your trip, say so first and the captain's answer reaches you in writing.
The remaining stops are those of the three-day route, from Kelor and Kalong through Padar's ridge, the pink sand, the Taka Makassar sandbar and the manta water to Siaba or Sebayur, and Kanawa takes the extra morning. Mantas are named in a stop and never promised. A longer route widens the choice without changing the sea.
The four-day fare, written out
The whole boat for 4D3N is IDR 160,000,000 (≈ USD 9,816), and the sum stays put whether one guest boards or 28. At twenty-eight guests it comes to IDR 5,710,000 (≈ USD 350) a head, and at twenty to IDR 8,000,000 (≈ USD 491).
The ledger keeps the order it has on every route. Carried by the fare: the car both ways, every meal on board, snacks, water, tea, coffee, milk and juice, the snorkel gear and Vhale's crew of 9. Outside it: the park package, flights, hotels, alcoholic drinks and tips, and the guide and the photographer, which a charter adds only on request.
| Guests | per boat | per person |
|---|---|---|
| 1–28 | IDR 160,000,000 (≈ USD 9,816) | IDR 5,710,000 |
A long table across three nights
Three nights is long enough for a table to develop habits: breakfast acquires regular seats, the day bed acquires an owner, and somebody starts keeping score on the karaoke. The outdoor dining room is where the afternoon is spent, and the indoor one is where the party retreats when the weather decides it.
Each night the boat rests at anchor in a spot the captain picks to suit the weather, and we never name a night's address in advance. Four days is the longest route we price, and for anything beyond it we quote on request.
