Two weekdays, sixteen sailings, and the seat price beside each
Vhale runs one open trip, and it is the three-day, two-night route, starting on a Monday or a Friday. So the calendar has two kinds of date and no more, Monday & Friday, week after week, each sailing keeping the same route and the same cabins. Read the list from the top down, as you would a train timetable; the nearest date sits first. Only dates still ahead are listed, per 4 November 2026: the next sailing is Friday, 6 November 2026, and there are 16 in all.
A date appears because the boat sails that day, which says nothing about which cabin is still free, so we never write sold out or available here. Send us the date with the cabin kind and the number of seats; the price per person follows the cabin, from IDR 4,450,000 (≈ USD 273) for a Coral sharing berth to IDR 8,950,000 (≈ USD 549) for an Atlantic cabin with the balcony.
- Route. 3D2N, day by day: Kelor, Rinca and Kalong; Padar, Pink Beach and the two reefs; a last snorkel at Siaba or Sebayur.
- Start. Pickup before 11:00 on day one.
- End. Back at the quay at 12:00 on day three.

A seat is held by message, never by assumption
You write to us with the date, the cabin and the number of people, and we answer on WhatsApp with a live check against the real calendar, before any payment is asked. If the cabin is yours, the reply says so in writing, and the deposit of 50 percent follows.
If your date or your cabin is full, the answer is not simply no. We propose the nearest sailing on the other weekday, or a different cabin on the same date, or the whole-boat route, which is one fare for the party. A Monday date can also become a private charter on request, when the boat is free of other guests on it. A full boat just means a second plan.
Guide and photo set: part of every open-trip seat
The open-trip seat is the only way aboard where the guide and the group's photographs and film come with the price, which is worth saying plainly, since a private charter leaves both on request. The guide goes with the group, and the documentation is taken for the guests as a set.
Here is the ledger for a seat. Outside it: the park package for the trip type, flights, hotels either side, alcoholic drinks and tips for the crew and the guide. Paying by card link adds 3 percent to the sum. Inside it: transfers both ways, meals, snacks, water, tea, coffee, milk, juice and snorkel gear. The two columns keep the same order on every page that carries a price.
Open-trip dates and fares for 2027
Open-trip dates for 2027 exist in Vhale's calendar, on the same Monday and Friday pattern. Fares for 2027 are put in writing before any payment, since a price we cannot confirm is a price we should not publish.
If you are planning a year ahead, send us the month and we will say which sailings fall in it. We would rather give you a date and a written fare in January than a promise in November, because a year is a long time to carry a number in your head and a short one in which to hold a boat.
Payment — all methods available
Secure payment by Stripe, Airwallex, American Express, Visa, Mastercard.
Fees: card payment link 3%, PayPal 7.2%, EDC card machine 3%. Your issuing bank may add its own charges. Deposit 50% to confirm, balance 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or by card on the EDC machine.
FAQ
On which days does Vhale sail, and is my date free?
The open trip sails every Monday & Friday for 3D2N. A private charter can begin on whichever day the boat stands empty. Whether your date is free is confirmed live on WhatsApp, because a published list cannot know what was reserved this morning.
My date or cabin is full. What now?
We propose the nearest sailing on the other weekday, a different cabin on the same date, or the whole-boat route for your party. Tell us your cabin kind and your budget, and we line up the closest matches instead of just saying no.
Can I turn an open-trip date into a private charter?
On request, when the boat is free of other guests on that date. The fare is the whole-boat fare for the route, one sum for the party. If other guests are already aboard, they keep their trip and we look for another date.
I am travelling alone. Can I still book a seat?
Yes. A seat is priced per person, and cabins sleep two or more, so you share the boat with other guests. The pairing for any shared cabin is put in writing before any payment, and the seat price depends on the cabin kind.
