Four guides to the list behind the word

Updated 4 November 2026

All inclusive Komodo guides for Vhale start from one idea: inclusive is a list, not an adjective. Four short guides write that list, the exceptions, the price per head for a party of twenty to twenty-eight, and the bed plan for twelve cabins, each checked against the current rate list.

Four guides, one idea: inclusive is a list

Four short guides sit under this page, and they are one argument told from four sides. The argument is that the words all inclusive mean nothing until somebody writes the list. The first guide writes it line by line. The second writes the other column, what you will still pay for. The third divides one whole-boat fare among twenty, twenty-four and twenty-eight people. The fourth puts twenty-eight beds into twelve cabins and sees who ends up where.

None of them is a sales leaflet. Each answers one question that a person planning a voyage for a big table asks at the wrong moment, which is to say at the pier. We would rather you asked it here, with a coffee, and found the answer written in the same order the price page uses.

Which guide to open first

Open the one that matches your worry. If you are comparing us with a cheaper-looking offer, read what all inclusive covers first, because the gap between two prices is nearly always a gap between two lists. If your finance person is already asking about the budget, go to the guide on what is not included; it is the shorter read and the more useful one for a spreadsheet.

If the party is large and the dates are fixed, the price-per-person guide gives the sum for twenty, twenty-four and twenty-eight on each route. And if somebody has asked who sleeps where, the cabin guide has the answer, with the awkward cases left in. The guides do not repeat each other. Reading all four costs about the time of a long lunch.

How these guides were checked

Every fact in the guides is checked against the rate list as of 4 November 2026, the newest we hold for Vhale. Where a detail is still open, the guide leaves the question to you, and the answer arrives in a written message. Every price is read from the same rate list as the price pages, so a guide cannot drift from a quote.

When we are told something new, a corrected cabin detail or a new route, the guides change in one afternoon and the old sentence goes. A guide that was right in October and wrong in January would be worse than no guide.

FAQ

What is not in a Komodo boat trip fare, put briefly?

On Vhale the park package, flights, hotels before and after, tips and alcohol are not in any fare. Guide and photographs on a private charter are a separate request with a separate price. The guide on what is not included takes each of these in turn.

Which guide tells me how a charter differs from an open-trip seat?

The guide on what all inclusive covers sets the two ways side by side: the whole boat for one party, or one cabin on the Monday & Friday sailing. The open-trip seat includes the guide and the documentation, the charter does not, and the fare logic differs, so read it before the price guide.
