Vhale Phinisi
A company trip where the invoice is as clear as the water
Updated 4 November 2026
A Komodo company trip on Vhale costs IDR 148,000,000 (≈ USD 9,080) for the entire vessel across three days, and with 24 colleagues aboard each head costs IDR 6,170,000 (≈ USD 379). Transfers, meals, snacks and drinks are carried; the park package, flights, hotels and tips sit outside.
A company table afloat: who it suits
A company of twenty to twenty-eight finds the arithmetic kind, because Vhale's whole-boat fare does not grow with the head count: it is one sum for 1 to 28 guests. A firm of fourteen pays what a firm of twenty-eight pays, which argues for bringing the whole department rather than the shortlist, and spares someone the task of explaining to the colleague left behind why the boat had empty beds.
The trip suits a sales team at the end of a good year, or a family firm that wants its cousins and its clients in the same photograph. It suits less well a company that needs a conference room, a screen and a fixed agenda; the boat gives you a table, not a boardroom.
Twelve cabins, one company: who sleeps where
Twelve cabins in five kinds: a plan by seniority is a company matter, not ours, but we can tell you what each door allows. The two Atlantic cabins come with a private balcony, a queen bed, and space for as many as 4. The two Azure and two Oceanic cabins hold 2 or 3, and the two Pacific cabins hold exactly 2. The four Coral cabins are bunk rooms for 3, on one double and one single bed. On standard beds that adds up to 28.
Whether the balcony goes to the managing director or to the intern who drew the short straw is a delicate question that we leave you to settle. Extra beds in Atlantic, Azure and Oceanic are by request and confirmed in writing. Ask us which bathroom arrangement the Azure and Coral cabins have before you give them to anyone senior.
Three days without a meeting room
There is no meeting room aboard, and we do not promise a projector or a screen; the days run on the 3D2N route instead. In short: Kelor, Rinca with the rangers and Kalong at dusk on day one; Padar before sunrise, Pink Beach and two snorkel stops on day two; a last snorkel and the drop-off at hotel or airport by 12:00 on day three. The 3D2N page gives the hours.
Anything formal belongs ashore, before or after. A short session on deck can be arranged on request and quoted first, and the speaker and karaoke set are there for the evening, not the agenda. The captain sets the order of stops with the weather.

Company cost per head, written plainly
For the budget line: the 3D2N whole-boat fare is IDR 148,000,000 (≈ USD 9,080), and for 24 colleagues that is IDR 148,000,000 (≈ USD 9,080) in all, or IDR 6,170,000 (≈ USD 379) each. At 20 the share is IDR 7,400,000 (≈ USD 454); at 28 it falls to IDR 5,290,000 (≈ USD 325). We divide for those head counts only, because the fare is built for parties of twenty and more.
The fare carries a car from hotel or airport and back, every meal on board, snacks, water on tap, tea, coffee, milk and juice, and the snorkel gear. It leaves out the park package, flights, hotels either side, tips and any alcohol. Charter the whole boat and the guide and the photographs become requests, quoted apart. Card payment adds 3 percent, which finance can avoid by paying the invoice by bank transfer.
Invoices, deposits and the paper trail
Your invoice comes from PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, and names the one bank account the payment goes to; we do not ask for money into any other. Finance pays 50 percent to hold the date and settles the remainder 30 days ahead of departure. Payment channels and their fees are listed on the booking page, and the reviews page says plainly which words about us are real.
The paper trail runs from quote to invoice, then deposit and balance, and ends with a receipt. If your finance team wants to check us before paying, we answer within the contact-page hours, Daily 08:00–20:00 (WITA), and we would rather be checked than trusted.
Booking for the office
Ask early when the party is twenty or more, because the whole boat can sail only one party at a time. A date that suits twenty-four diaries rarely stays free for long. The first message needs the head count, the dates you are weighing and whether you want the guide and documentation quoted. We hold the date in three short messages and confirm it in writing; the steps are below.

FAQ
How many staff can Vhale take on one sailing?
Up to 28 guests on standard beds across 12 cabins, looked after by 9 crew. Extra beds in Atlantic, Azure and Oceanic are by request and confirmed in writing, and we do not promise a head count above 28. A smaller company pays the same whole-boat fare.
How can our finance team check that Komodo Explorer is a real company?
The invoice comes from PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, answering during Daily 08:00–20:00 (WITA). Payment goes to the one bank account named on that invoice and never to a personal account. The reviews page also says which words about us are real and where they come from.
What do we pay now, and what later?
Hold the date with 50 percent, then settle the balance 30 days before departure, or hand over cash or tap the EDC machine on the day. The terms page sets out refunds by date, and a card link carries 3 percent.
How early should a company ask about dates?
For twenty or more, as soon as a date looks plausible, because the whole boat sails with one party at a time. We set no fixed lead time; ask early and we answer in writing. We hold a date in three messages and confirm it in writing.
