Guide and documentation come with the seat, and your cabin partner is confirmed in writing before you pay.

Ask for a seat

One traveller, one seat, one berth

A seat on Vhale is a single person's share of a cabin on the 3D2N open trip, which sails every Monday & Friday. The price is per person, and a Coral Sharing berth is the seat made for one traveller. Ask us what a queen cabin costs for one person; we quote it in writing. The cheapest seat is Coral Sharing at IDR 4,450,000 (≈ USD 273), and the dearest is the Atlantic cabin with a private balcony at IDR 8,950,000 (≈ USD 549). Between them stand four other kinds.

What you get is the same boat as everyone else has: the cars there and back, all meals, snacks, water on tap, tea, coffee, milk and juice, snorkel gear, and a guide with full photo documentation, since this is the open trip. What you do not get is the whole boat. That is the other fare, and it is not for one.

Which cabin suits someone travelling alone

The seat made for one is Coral Sharing, a berth in a bunk room on the lower deck, at IDR 4,450,000 (≈ USD 273). The queen cabins are booked by the seat for two guests: Pacific at IDR 6,200,000 (≈ USD 380) is the quiet one, Oceanic at IDR 7,450,000 (≈ USD 457) adds an extra bed and Atlantic opens a door onto the sea. Azure costs IDR 5,200,000 (≈ USD 319); ask us which bathroom arrangement your cabin has. A lone traveller who wants one of these asks us, and the price for one person comes back in writing.

The Coral cabins are bunk rooms with one double and one single bed, on the lower deck. Coral Private is IDR 5,700,000 (≈ USD 350), and Coral Sharing is the lowest seat of all. They suit someone who sleeps anywhere and spends the day on deck, which on this boat is a perfectly reasonable thing to be.

Monday or Friday: the dates for one

The open trip starts every Monday and every Friday, three days and two nights, and the dates ahead are listed per 4 November 2026. The next is Friday, 6 November 2026. A Monday sailing runs through Wednesday, a Friday sailing through Sunday, and both follow the 3D2N route: Kelor, Rinca and Kalong on day one, Padar and the reef stops on day two, a last snorkel on day three, back at 12:00.

A date on this list is not a promise of a seat. Every seat is confirmed live with us on WhatsApp before you pay, and if the date is full we propose the nearest one.

On request

Sharing a boat with strangers, politely

You will be sharing the boat with strangers, and the politest way to do that is to know early who they are. A traveller on their own takes a Coral Sharing berth in one of the lower-deck bunk rooms, since a queen cabin is booked by the seat only with a companion. How the bunk room is shared, and with whom, you have in writing before you pay, and beyond that we promise nothing about who it will be.

On deck it is easier than it sounds. The boat offers an indoor dining room and an outdoor one, meals are shared, and a speaker and karaoke set make conversation unavoidable by the second evening. A day bed, two paddle boards and a crew of 9 soften the rest.

Asking us to pair you before you pay

Write to us with your dates, the cabin you prefer and whether you would share. We reply in writing with the seat and the cabin. If the cabin is shared, we say who shares it, and nothing is final until that message is in your hands. If you would rather have a queen cabin to yourself, ask us what it costs on the date you want.

The seat leaves out the park package, flights, hotels either side, tips and any alcohol. Card payments carry 3 percent; the deposit of 50 percent holds the seat.
